Rina Mandal

Rina Mandal brings a strong grassroots perspective, backed by academic grounding in History (UG & PG), a B.Ed. from Visva-Bharati University – UNESCO’s first living heritage university – and an MSW from Banaras Hindu University. Her seven years at Shantiniketan deeply shaped her worldview, grounding her in Tagore’s philosophy of holistic learning and social reform. She has teaching experience in schools and has actively engaged in fieldwork with marginalized communities. As a volunteer with Vishal Bharat Sansthan (Nov 2023 & Feb–Mar 2024), she worked with underprivileged Hindu and Muslim groups in Varanasi. She also volunteered at the Additional Labour Commissioner’s Office in Jaitpura (Feb 2025), gaining practical insights into labor rights and workplace conditions.Rina joined PANI Sansthan on 5th June 2025 as Programme Coordinator for the AAROHI EAG program in Bhiti block, Ambedkar Nagar. She leads program implementation and team management, focusing on empowering adolescent girls through education and sports, raising awareness, aspirations, and self-reliance. She is skilled in leadership, communication, critical thinking, and proficient in MS Office, Excel, and data management.
