Umanath Mishra

Umanath Mishra is a dedicated development professional with a background in Economics, Public Administration, and a Master’s in Social Work from the Delhi School of Social Work, Delhi University. During his MSW, he engaged in programs related to education, social discrimination, and community-based research.He previously worked with Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal as a Monitoring and Training Coordinator, where he led program monitoring, training, and stakeholder engagement.In June 2025, Umanath joined PANI as the Program Coordinator for the Arohi – Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (EAG) Program in Dostpur block, Sultanpur district. In this role, he leads initiatives focusing on health, nutrition, education, and adolescent rights. His responsibilities include planning and monitoring field activities, building capacity of frontline workers, engaging with community stakeholders, and ensuring that adolescent girls receive accurate information, support, and access to essential services.He brings a thoughtful, inclusive, and rights-based approach to community development.
