Mr. Pathani Behera is a highly experienced finance leader with over 28 years of expertise in financial management, legal compliance and organizational governance. A Commerce graduate from Berhampur University, Odisha, he has been an integral part of PANI since 1996, working closely with the organization’s founder and shaping its financial and compliance framework.
As Head of Finance & Legal Compliance, he oversees budget planning, expenditure tracking, financial controls and auditing while ensuring strict adherence to legal, organizational and project-specific compliances. He plays a critical role in financial monitoring, donor due diligence, and pre-funding appraisals, strengthening PANI’s credibility with funding agencies.
With deep insights into financial strategy and risk management, Pathani also provides capacity-building support to finance teams and offers secretarial support to the Chief Functionary in governance matters. His unwavering commitment to transparency and accountability has been instrumental in PANI’s financial sustainability and growth.
