Dr. Sravan Parimala Kumar

Dr. Katta Sravan Naga Parimala Kumar is a forward-thinking individual with deep expertise in agricultural social sciences and policy advocacy, complemented by extensive knowledge in piggery and fisheries sectors acquired through his academic research. He presently serves as Area Manager for the CKC Project under PANI, leading its initiatives in Gonda District and ensuring its successful implementation.Dr. Kumar holds a doctorate in Agricultural Extension and Communication from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. In addition to his core academic portfolio, he has a Postgraduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management (PGDAEM-MOOCs) from MANAGE, Hyderabad, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development (PGDRD) from IGNOU. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Agribusiness (PGDAB) from IGNOU, further enriching his academic breadth.Dr. Kumar’s professional journey includes impactful work with various NGOs and the Patanjali Research Foundation, where he engaged with a wide spectrum of agricultural stakeholders and contributed to developing India’s smallest soil testing device and its first automated soil testing machine.Dr. Kumar received the Young Scientist Award from Vigyan Varta in 2022. He has also qualified for ASRB-ICAR NET in 2021 and 2023. His academic contributions are both vast and commendable, comprising 11 research papers, 24 book chapters, 1 edited volume, and 22 popular articles published across esteemed national and international journals and magazines. In addition to these distinctions, Dr. Kumar also participated in numerous trainings, workshops, and conferences of both national and international repute.
